Mark-up" Policy
DeWinter Communications, Inc. is a full-service
marketing & PR
agency that does NOT mark up expenses.
Frankly, we would rather earn
our money from our marketing, creative development, and project implementation
services – rather than
needless mark-ups which offer NO value to customers. To that end:
• We do NOT mark up printing.
• We do NOT mark up graphic design fees.
• We do NOT mark up Web development services.
• We do NOT mark up signage.
• We do NOT mark up catering services.
• We do NOT mark up trade show booths.
• We do NOT mark up press release distribution fees.
• We do NOT mark up FAXes, copies, and postage.
In fact, the only thing we mark up at all
is advertising – because
we add value to the process. How? We will buy your ad space and obtain
the 15% agency discount for you that is typically offered by most
publications, and pass a 10% savings back to you. (Basically, we charge
you 5% to save you 10% -- and we will require that you pay for your
ads up front in order to obtain this discount.) In our minds, that’s
a good deal and can save you considerable money.
Of course, we will charge you our standard hourly rate for the time
it takes to develop and write ads, if you need those services, and
to review pricing options, and coordinate insertion orders and the
submission of artwork. We work quickly and efficiently to do this.
So if you think your company’s marketing
budget would be better served by spending money on actual deliverables,
rather than mark
