Boot Camp 1: Anti-recession Marketing Boot Camp
Cost: $395
Time: Full day
Basic Content: Overall marketing boot camp designed to teach business owners how to view the recession as an opportunity; find new sources of business; shift their business offerings if needed; marketing fundamentals such as positioning & messaging; and recommendations on the many cost-effective marketing strategies that can improve business. Working exercises are interwoven through the whole day, which apply directly to each attendee’s business. The result is that attendees walk out with thousands of dollars worth of marketing knowledge and a workbook that functions as a step-by-step, guerilla marketing plan. Strategies to be covered include: Publicity, Web Site, E-marketing, Direct Mail, Special Events, Special Promotions, Strategic Alliances, and more.
Boot Camp 2: Product & Company Launch Boot Camp

Time: Full day
Basic Content: This workshop teaches entrepreneurs and company owners how to properly launch a company or product. Participants will learn about the basic elements involved in a marketing launch, and how to properly sequence activities. In the process of the day, attendees will follow along and build their own launch plan, resulting in a specific step-by-step tactical plan for conducting a marketing launch of a company or product.

Boot Camp 3: Business Pitch (& Speaking) Boot Camp
Cost: $275
Time: 2/3 day
Basic Content: This workshop blends 3 distinct areas of content to improve the quality & impact of a company or individual’s business pitches and speeches. The workshop blends content on: 1) marketing fundamentals (positioning & counter positioning, messaging, scripting); 2) performance fundamentals (very specific tips on use of voice and physicality to improve pitches); and 3) behavioral sciences (strategies for non-verbally conveying strategic messages, advice on attire, and building rapport). This workshop is 60% lecture, information, and demonstration of techniques; the final portion involves attendees presenting for 5 minutes, with 15 minutes of on-the-spot feedback from marketing/PR/speaking coach Courtney DeWinter.
Boot Camp 4: Media Training Boot Camp
Cost: $275
Time: 2/3 day
Basic Content: This workshop is taught from the perspective of both a marketing consultant and reporter/editor (Courtney DeWinter has a dual-track career that includes marketing & PR corporate & agency experience, and experience as a reporter, staff editor, and managing editor. Sixty percent of the workshop involves lecture, information & demonstration of techniques to use for effective interviewing with the media; the remaining portion involves attendees participating in a “mock” media interview with Courtney DeWinter serving as a reporter. Live feedback on the mock interviews provides a real-world, in-the-trenches approach to improving media interviewing skills.
Boot Camp 5: Press Release & Media Pitching Boot Camp

Time: Half day
Basic Content: For companies that would like to get a press program going but don’t necessarily have the money for a PR person, this boot camp teaches the fundamentals of writing press releases. Content include the specific structure the press releases should take, what’s news (and what’s not); the difference between “hard” news and “soft news”; how to build an accurate media list; and basics on how to pitch stories. A final deliverable is that participants will actually build their own “About Us” boilerplate that belongs at the end of every release, which they can use in their own press releases.
Boot Camp 6: Direct Mail Boot Camp

Time: 2 hours
Basic Content: Direct mail is a great strategy to implement to spur awareness and interest in what a business has to offer. However, there are quite specific “do’s” and “don’ts” for successful direct mail campaigns. This workshop covers direct mail best practices, and specific ways to write and design direct mail pieces for maximum results. Attendees will learn about best practices in a lively, engaging way by reviewing examples of direct mail pieces that illustrate key recommendations, and leave with a “cheat sheet” checklist of concepts to apply to the next direct mail piece.

Basic Content: The behavior of trade show booth staffers can make or break the success of a company’s trade show endeavors. This workshop is designed both for trade show managers and trade show booth staffers. Key content includes basic “do’s” and “don’ts” of trade show staff activity, and covers specifics techniques for engaging passers by.
